Police in the UK have launched an investigation after two young children were found at a flat in London.
According to Sky News the 19 month old and three year old were tragically found at a flat in Ilford on Sunday evening at approximately 5:30pm.
Sky News reports that one of the children was pronounced dead at the scene whilst the other sadly passed away in hospital a short time later.
Police investigating the incident say a 40-year-old man is in critical condition in hospital after being found with a knife injury.
Meanwhile the children’s mother is receiving the support of specially trained officers.
