A 2-year-old girl in the US state of Kansas, has tested positive for a STD after doctors found evidence of rape.
According to FOX 32, the infant tested positive for sexual transmitted disease after her mother brought her to a local hospital.
It is understood the girl’s mother brought her to a hospital after she discovered serious injuries on her daughter after she and her siblings were left in the care of a family friend the night before.
FOX 32 say the mother’s worst fears were confirmed after doctors at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, sadly confirmed that the infant had been raped.
Police say they are currently investigating the incident.
