In what can only be described as a truly horrifying and sickening story an Indian woman is currently recovering in hospital after she had corrosive acid poured on her genitals after being gang raped in a school.
The woman at the centre of the brutal attack is believed to have been attacked by her lover and another man in retaliation for an affair.
According to Indian state media the two men (who have since been arrested) deliberately orchestrated the rape on the widowed mother of three which happened in the Ghoorpur area of the district of Allahabad in the northern Indian state of Uttar Pradesh State, in attempt to shame her for pursuing the married man.
It is understood the woman who is a cleaner at a school had an affair with the married man who is a driver for over a year, however after trying to persuade him to leave his arranged marriage the woman was purposely subjected to the horrendous attack which has since left her with severe burns.
Police have since confirmed that they have arrested the driver named only as Panchraj and an another man whose name was not released.
Meanwhile in an attempt to explain his horrid actions the vicious love rat Panchraj said he tried to distance himself from his lover but she refused to leave him alone and therefore he had no choice but to carryout the attack.
Panchraj apparently told investigating officers the following: “I had an affair with her. My marriage was arranged with someone else, so I distanced myself from her but she started pressuring me to be with her.”
“Angry at her for this, I did this to her.”
It is understood the attack occurred at a closed school where both Panchraj and the woman worked during the Hindu festival of Dussehra.
Reports say Panchraj decided to lure her away to a secluded part of the school grounds where both men raped her before they splashed corrosive acid on to her genitals.
