A woman who suffered a broken spine after being gang raped by four men has died in hospital.
According to NDTV, the 20 year old woman was brutally attacked by the four men in Hathras, on September 14th.
The sickening attack has led to number of protests take place outside the hospital where the victim was treated with a number of celebrities and politicians taking part.
NDTV reports that the woman who sadly passed away earlier this week suffered multiple fractures, paralysis and a deep gash in her tongue after she was attacked by the four men.
It is believed that the four men abducted the woman whilst she was cutting grass outside her home and then dragged her into nearby fields and carried out the brutal assault.
The young woman who sustained horrific injuries was later found by her family who had been searching for her.
Police investigating the incident say all four men have since been arrested and have subsequently been charged with murder.
