Representatives of the hospitality sector met with the Tanaiste Leo Varadkar today to discuss the outrageous treatment their workers have been subjected to over the past 21 months.
It’s understood that there’s been a complete and utter wipe out of Christmas party bookings, corporate events and private dinner parties across the sector around the country.
Hotels are taking the brunt of the hit with big corporate events, office Christmas parties and bookings being cancelled.
Many businesses say that they won’t get through the next number of months if the restrictions continue to go on or get any worse.
