The Chief Executive of the HSE Paul Reid has revealed that almost 2.9m Covid-19 vaccines have been administered to date.
Speaking at briefing today, Reid also confirmed that the country is on course to administer between 280,000 and 300,000 vaccines this week.
Reid said that of the 2.9m doses administered 2 million of dose are first doses and 900,000 are second doses.
It is expected that between 250,000 and 270,000 doses will be administered next week.
