The HSE Chief Executive Paul Reid has revealed that a third of care residents have received a Covid-19 booster vaccine.
Speaking about the rollout Reid said that care home residents over the age of 65 will receive the vaccine.
Reid went on to say the programme will then go on to vaccine people aged 80 and over in the community.
He added that those vaccines will be administered via GP’s.
