There has been a total of 5.8m Covid-19 vaccines administered to date thr HSE has confirmed.
In an announcement the health authority confirmed that a total 87% of adults have received their first dose.
Meanwhile a total of 73% of all adults are now fully vaccinated.
The news comes as it was confirmed that a total of 10,000 people visited walk in vaccination centres this past weekend.
