The Chief Executive of the HSE Paul Reid has confirmed that over 6 million Covid-19 vaccine doses have been administered to date.
In an announcement made today, Reid confirmed that 3.3m people have received their first dose whilst a total of 2.8m have received their second dose.
Reid also confirmed that the vaccine portal for the 12 to 15 year old cohort will open next week.
He added that the uptake for the Covid-19 vaccine still remains strong.
