Around 300 people turned out in Dublin today remember and honour Peggy Mangan, highlight awareness and raise funds for Alzheimers research.
Peggy who was 65, went missing on September 24 last year and was found dead four days later with her loyal dog Casper by her side. Unfortunately Casper died a number of hours later, but as one of the walkers remarked “Peggy and Casper are reunited now again”.
Her daughters Orla and Louise have set up the “Peggy Mangan Foundation” and they have already €37,000.
