Are we alone in the Universe? This is a question so burning in some people’s minds that almost 400,000 individuals have signed up to a group on Facebook planning to storm Area 51 this September.
The page calls on mass numbers of people to charge the Air Force Base at Groom Lake, Nevada in an effort to “see them aliens”.
Those interested are invited to rendezvous on September 20th at the Area 51 Alien Centre in in Amargosa Valley, Nevada, about 90 miles from Las Vegas.
The secretive Air Force base which is strictly off limits to the public and unauthorised visitors has long been associated with UFO’s and alleged recovered alien spacecraft and even captured extra-terrestrial biological entities i.e. aliens.
For most of its history the base’s existence was denied by the US government though it was well known to locals but since 2014 the US government has acknowledged that Area 51 does exist.
