The Hungarian government of Prime Minister Victor Orban has hit out at the EU’s “Open Borders” Propaganda in sharp rebuke of Andreas Kluth’s Bloomberg op-ed on Tuesday, which called the country’s leader “saboteur” of European Union immigration reform

Kluth, a columnist for Bloomberg Opinion, hit out at Orban for his refusal to open his country’s borders to mass migration from the Third World in 2015 during the migrant crisis when the bloc’s hegemon Germany opened its borders and by proxy those of the EU.

Government spokesman, Zoltan Kovacs, rebutted Kluth in a statement on twitter saying:

“Perhaps “journalism” like this is to blame for the tragedy at the Moria camp. Reporting that it’s wrong to require migrants to request asylum in first safe state, claiming PM Orbán “blocked” refugees, pushing the “open borders” position as if it were a human right. It’s not.”

Hungary along with the other Visegrád countries in Central and Eastern Europe have resisted pressure from Brussels to open their borders to mass migration of non-European migrants and the inevitable cultural and demographic change it brings much to the consternation of the bloc’s technocrats.
