A Ryanair flight bound for Ibiza had to be diverted to Paris after a group of at least 20 passengers caused a disturbance on board.
It emerged that the group had had an early morning booze session at Dublin Airport.
It is understood that at least three people were arrested after the plane landed at Paris Beauvais airport.
The incident prompted the airline to call for a ban on drink at airport bars before 10am.
