A company director working for Iceland has gotten the sack after referring to the Welsh language as ‘gibberish.’
The sacking came about after an old blog post written by Iceland’s corporate affairs boss Keith Hann surfaced. The post reportedly said that Welsh sounded ‘like someone with bad catarrh clearing his throat.’
Mr. Hann’s employment was terminated in recent days.
