Iceland stores have been ordered to recall all frozen animal products imported since March due to traceability issues.

It’s understood the recall was prompted by suspicions of non-compliance with current import legislation by countries outside the European Union.

All frozen products of animal origin imported since March 3 will be recalled and destroyed.
