Identity papers, please: From Monday, every individual will be questioned upon entering pubs and restaurants and be asked their full name and phone number

Ireland is today moving one step closer to a police state, as it has now emerged that, from Monday, every individual will be questioned upon entering pubs and restaurants and be asked their full name and phone number.

If the identity papers are not forthcoming, the individual is likely to be refused entry.

Pubs and restaurants have reportedly been asked to ‘police’ every point of entry into the premises to prevent unauthorized access.
