The Taoiseach Micheal Martin has said that he’s not convinced that Level 5 could see the country go back to normal if a two week shutdown were to occur.
Speaking to RTE, Martin said that Level 3 could have an impact but that it depends on the public’s behaviour in relation to Covid.
Martin said that he couldn’t see a way for a two week Level 5 shutdown to just go back to normal if a lockdown were to occur.
Numbers remain drastically high with many speculating that it’ll be almost impossible to avoid a Level 5 lockdown.
