Ikea restaurant is offering offer half-price meals on weekdays

Ikea’s iconic meatballs are nearly as well-known as its build-it-yourself furniture, and now the global brand is making its food offerings even more appealing with a limited-time promotion, reports Breaking News.

The Swedish company announced that customers dining at the Ballymun store’s restaurant can enjoy at least 50 per cent off meals from Monday to Friday, between 11am and the store’s closing time.

This deal is available exclusively to those enrolled in the Ikea Family loyalty programme and will run from June 5th to August 29th, reports Breaking News.

As part of the promotion, the price of Ikea’s signature eight-piece meatball dish will be halved to €3.25, down from the usual €6.50. Fish and chips, as well as a salmon fillet, will each be available for €3.95, according to Ikea.

Children’s meals, which come with a piece of fruit and a soft drink, are also discounted — pasta will cost just 45c, and the kids’ meatball meal will be priced at €1.25, reports Breaking News.

The promotion highlights Ikea’s increasing emphasis on its food business. The company has been expanding its dining presence beyond furniture stores, having launched its first standalone restaurant in London at the end of last year, reports Breaking News.
