The Army Bomb Disposal team was on the scene in Finglas, Dublin, this morning, after receiving a call from Gardai about a suspicious device found in the area.
The device was deemed to be viable. Bomb disposal operatives made it safe and removed it for further investigation.
The area was declared secure at around 10:30am.
