Flight schedules at Belfast Airport are experiencing severe disruption this morning, after a cargo aircraft burst its tyres right after landing, becoming stranded in a junction between two runways.
Nobody was hurt in the incident, but the unfortunate positioning of the aircraft, right in between the runways, meant that no flights could land or depart, forcing the closure of the airport for a time.
The incident has caused a string of flight cancellations, and disruption is expected to last through the day.
Passengers are advised to contact their airline if they are scheduled to fly out of Belfast today.
