An impending spell of heavy rain has prompted the national forecaster to issue a warning for 18 counties.
Up to 35mm of rain is expected to fall across many areas, potentially leading to localised flooding. Southern and eastern countries are likely to be worst hit.
The warning kicks in today at 3pm and will remain in place until Wednesday at 6pm.
