Indoor dining and drinking might be allowed in Ireland from the first week of July

Indoor dining and drinking will be allowed in Ireland from July 5, it has emerged.

This is not yet set in stone, however. A final decision will be announced later today along with other wedding numbers increasing to 50 in July and 100 in August.

Meanwhile, hotels will reopen on June 2, and outdoor dining will resume on June 7.

Outdoor activities will see 100 people allowed at events in June and 200 in stadiums. All of this is still provisional but it definitely looks as though the pandemic is behind us once and for all.
