INMO openly admits that Irish hospitals aren’t safe environments for patients or staff

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organization (INMO) has openly admitted that Irish hospitals aren’t safe environments for patients or staff.

According to the organization’s General Secretary, the health service is ‘no longer a safe environment for healthcare workers or vulnerable patient.’

The incompetence and inaction of successive Governments have led to a situation of chronic overcrowding and sub-standard service across the board, with no improvement in sight, while top management at the HSE rakes in half a mill a year for the privilege.
