The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) has recommended that nurses and midwives accept the deal put on the table at the Labour Court yesterday.
The deal would see a number of workers earning up to 2,500e extra a year.
Many have voiced grave concerns about such deal however, stating that the vast majority of staff would barely get about 1,200 a year.
The deal was branded ‘an insult’.
The row continues.
