Dublin is the third worst city in the world for traffic congestion a new study has revealed.
According to motor data company INRIX’s Global Scorecard, the Irish capital is only behind Bogta and Rome for traffic congestion.
The study found that on average those travelling in Dublin spend 246 hours in their car, which makes it the third worst city in the world to travel in.
According to the study the Irish capital was only third to Rome (254 hours)and Bogta (272 hours).
Surprisingly Dublin was even worse off than other congested cities including London (227 hours), Paris (237 hours), New York (133 hours).
The study also found that the nations capital had the slowest downtown peak speeds with an average of just 5.9 miles per hour.
