INMO recommends that overcrowding is treated as a ‘national emergency’

The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation (INMO) is today recommending that hospital overcrowding is treated as a ‘national emergency’.

According to the organization, it is not acceptable that the same problem arises year after year, with no solution from the Government.

Meanwhile, the HSE’s and the Minister for ‘Health’ Stephen Donelly’s current posture is a less-than-urgent ‘overcrowding will get worse before it gets better.’
