In a very candid interview, model and TV presenter, Pamela Flood spoke about recently becoming a mother again to a little baby girl, at the age of almost 45.
Disgracefully, the Dubliner said she recently a torrent of abuse on Twitter, not her personal Facebook account, in relation to becoming a mother again in her mid 40s.
She spoke about the stereotype that’s attached to the ageism of an woman having a child at an older age, but she said as long as she’s fit, healthy and happy – she’ll be a better mum than anyone.
She said 33% of all mothers are now having their children 35 years of age and older. Fair play to her, she most definitely inspired many women around the country who is and who will be having children at a later age these days.
