An Air Corps helicopter lost a door while flying over school grounds in the capital today.
It is understood that the rear door of a AW139 helicopter became detached in mid-air and landed on the grounds of Moyle Park College in Clondalkin. Luckily, the area was empty so nobody was hurt in the incident.
The Air Corps will now launch an investigation into the accident.
