Police in the North have begun an investigation after a dog sadly passed away after being left locked inside a hot car.
According to Belfast Live, the investigation comes after the dog was found in distress inside the car which was parked on the Wellington Road, in Ennniskillen, on Sunday afternoon.
Although police were informed by members of the public about the incident.
They have sadly confirmed that the dog passed away at a local veterinary clinic shortly after being rescued from the car.
Officers investigating the incident say two people are assisting with their investigation.
