The US Center of Disease Control have launched an investigation after a man reportedly died during a flight from New York to Los Angeles International Airport.
According to FOX5 News, the investigation comes after the man died during the flight on Monday December 14th.
It is reported that CDC officials are currently working with United Airlines officials in order to trace passengers on board flight UA591 who may have been exposed to Covid-19.
Fox5 News reports that the search for the passengers comes after it was initially reported that the man died of cardiac arrest, but now it is thought that the man may have been experiencing Covid-19 symptoms.
It is believed that passengers on board the flight were given the option to continue with the flight or take a later flight following an emergency landing in New Orleans.
The CDC say they are conducting an out reach with the relative health authorities in order to determine whether or not anyone has been exposed to the virus.
