Just in case you’re not one of us weary eyed Irish people this morning who stayed up practically all night, this pic is the exact moment our nation’s new UFC Undisputed Featherweight Champion of the world took down FORMER Champion Jose Aldo in a one Punch Knockout.

McGregor came into the arena in confident form while Jose remained much calmer and seemed very collected by just staring at the floor.

As the belk rang and the first bout started, little did any of us expect just five punches in total to occur.

A swift chest swipe by McGregor quickly followed by a left from Aldo was met with an incredible left hand knockout punch from McGregor.

Aldo went down like a tonne of bricks and McGregor just pounded him twice before the referee rightly stopped it.

And so became a new Champion. As we stated when it happened, Conor thanked the fans and his team. He also gave credit to how strong Aldo is.

Aldo meanwhile was demanding a rematch immediately claiming that it wasn’t a proper fight.

Well here’s news for you, Jose, it was s proper fight and one in which Conor knocked you our fair and square.

The Notorious finished with:
“Ireland baby we did it!”.
