Ireland is still paying €14 MILLION a DAY in interest on national debt

Released CSO figures show that Ireland is still paying back €14 million a DAY in interest alone on the national debt.

The national debt now stands at a staggering €206 billion, up €5 billion from the previous year. This is the stuff of nightmares because it means that not only the next generation will be paying it back but their children will be too.

Ireland paid out €14 million a day or €5.2 billion in total last year in interest to service the national debt which has gone up significantly since 2017.

Monies for hospital beds, social housing and infrastructure appear to be non existent with a bill that keeps getting bigger and bigger daily.
