Ireland left behind as England with nearly 4,000 cases per day begin to reopen their country from today

It’s beginning to feel like Ireland’s government had badly let the Irish people down again with our neighbours beginning to reopen their country from today.

With close to 4,000 confirmed cases per day, England will start seeing sports recommence, with families allowed to meet and weddings of up to 15 people to take place.

Along with that, from April 12th, hairdressers will once again be open along with essential retail.

Their roadmap ends on June 21st where England will see pubs, restaurants, nightclubs all fully open with no social distancing. Along with that, concerts can take place and foreign travel.

Meanwhile, Ireland with around 500 cases per day will see Micheal Martin, Leo Varadkar and Eamon Ryan just consider lifting the 5km rule to 10km on April 5th. The comparison is stark.
