Police in the North have confirmed this morning that Ulster and Ireland rugby players Paddy Jackson and Stuart Olding will face prosecution in relation to alleged rape charges.
The news which comes less than a year after the alleged incident took place, was confirmed last night after the Public Prosecution Service said both men along with two other men are to face prosecution.
Altough both men have repeatedly denied the charges the PPS has said Mr Jackson and Mr Olding will be charged with rape and are expected to face trial along with two other men involved in the case.
It is believed that another man along with Jackson and Olding are accused of sexual offences whilst the fourth man faces counts of withholding information and perverting the course of justice.
