Ireland says they will no longer be taking deliveries of the AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine




Ireland will no longer be taking delivery of the AstraZeneca or the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine.

In an announcement the Chief Executive of the HSE Paul Reid said that Ireland will cease further deliveries for the time.

It is understood the decision comes following recommendations from NIAC.

The announcment now means that the country will now be using Moderna and Pfizer vaccines as the EU continues with its plan to use MRNA Covid-19 vaccines.
