The British Prime Minister is probably the most hated man in the UK tonight after he took a sledgehammer to people’s Christmas plans.
Boris Johnson announced that much of England, Wales and effectively Scotland too is back in lockdown immediately.
Tier 4 levels of restrictions will see little to no one being able to move about for Christmas week and enjoy the time off with their family.
Wales has gone into a full lockdown while people are asked to not travel in or out of Scotland.
As Irish people stay put in the UK for Christmas, and northern Ireland to go into lockdown again from St Stephen’s Day, many are asking is Ireland next.
