Ireland weather: Deep freeze possibly set to return as temperatures plunge below zero

According to the most recent weather projections, Ireland might experience another cold freeze by the end of next week, with lows as low as minus five degrees, reports The Mirror.

With above-average temperatures in most areas this week, the nation enjoyed a much-needed break from the freezing weather of last week.

However, it appears that the break will only last a short while, as a cold period is predicted to resume by the end of next week.

Right now, some weather models predict that over the weekend, the temperature may dip as low as minus eight, reports The Mirror.

Meanwhile, the upcoming weekend is expected to bring sporadic downpours and showers along with occasional sunny intervals, with above-average temperatures persisting, reports The Mirror.
