
The Irish Coast Guard have rescued an injured man from a vessel 300 kilometres off the Cork coast.
According to RTÉ News, the injured man was rescued by rescue helicopter 115 shortly before 7pm this evening.
It is understood the man was injured whilst on board a Norwegian Naval vessel.
RTÉ News reports that the man was taken to Cork University Hospital where he is currently receiving treatment.
It is not yet known what injuries sustained.
