Irish Coast Guard searching for a man seen entering the water off the Co Kerry coast

The Irish Coast Guard have been called in to search for man who is believed have fallen into the sea off the Co Kerry coast.

Reports say the Coast Guard were alerted to incident at approximately 4pm this afternoon, a spokesperson for the Irish Coast Guard said they received a call alerting them to a situation where an angler was seen entering the water at Kerry Head.

The Coast Guard say they have sent a unit from Glenderry along with the Fenit RNLI lifeboat and Shannon-based search and rescue helicopter, Rescue 115, to the scene.
