Reports from the Sunday World newspaper claim that the Irish government have gone out of their way to help so-called ISIS bride Lisa Smith return to Ireland.

It’s understood that the Irish government issued special travel documents for Lisa Smith and her 2-yr-old daughter to come back to Ireland.

A number of operatives from the Irish Ranger Wing have been deployed to the Syrian border with the mission of ‘assisting in bringing Lisa Smith and her child back to Ireland’, according to RTE.

The military personnel are reportedly on the ground to provide ‘security, advice, and escort’ services when extracting the ISIS Bride from hostile territory.

The dogged determination of the Irish Government to bring Lisa Smith home starkly contrasts with the UK’s dealings with its own ‘ISIS Bride’, Shamima Begum. The British Home Office paid no heed to Ms. Begum’s pleas to be allowed back ‘home’, going as far as revoking the ISIS Bride’s British citizenship and telling her in no uncertain terms that she will never be allowed to set foot on British soil again.
