Irish people in Australia are disappointed as the annual Sydney fireworks display has been cancelled due to the pandemic.
Up to 1 million people were expected to sit, stand and lie around Circular Quay, but alas that can’t be because of the numbers of cases.
Last year, a Change.org petition were launched to try and stop the fireworks display because of the ongoing bush fires that the country was experiencing.
