Nurses and midwives have announced their intention to stage protests against chronic levels of overcrowding.
They are demanding that the HSE puts a concrete plan in place ahead of the expected surge in demand for medical services over the coming winter.
Overcrowding is at an all-time high due to ongoing deficiencies and Government apathy.
