An Irishman has been arrested in Brazil on suspicion of touting tickets for the opening ceremony of the 2016 Olympics.
The man, confirmed to be an Irish citizen, has been named as Kevin James Marlen. He was arrested on Friday at a hotel near the Maracana stadium.
Mr. Marlen now faces charges of attempting to sell tickets above their face value.
If convicted, he may face a hefty fine.
