Irish Water say people need to cut back on their shower times, ensure that all taps are turned off and to turn off their taps when they’re brushing their teeth.
The service claims that there has been a shortfall in rain over the past number of months and that water shortages could be a real concern as the hot weather approaches this summer.
Hopefully we’ll get another heatwave, and if so, people are asked to preserve as much water as possible during such time.
