Met Eireann is today forecasting temperatures to rise to 21C this weekend, with good weather predicted for next week and beyond.
According to the national forecaster, Saturday is likely to be a cloudy but dry and very mild day, with temperatures reaching 18-19C.
Sunday will be an even better day, with long spells of sunshine predicted and temperatures topping 21C.
