Irish Water is living to its well earned reputation of bungling utility, as everything it touches does turn into soiled matter.
It has emerged today that at least eight out of every 10 calls received in its call centre are about refunds, cancellation of direct debits, or how the SEPA refund system operates.
An internal source said that people are ‘desperate’ to recoup some of the monies wasted.
Irish Water meanwhile is declining to comment on these allegations, deeming them ‘hearsay.’
