Irish Water have confirmed that they will review the current hosepipe ban following recent rainfall.
In a statement the utility said the current ban which is implemented until July 21st will be reviewed following heavy rainfall in recent weeks.
Although the removal of the ban is under consideration, Irish Water say it may remain in place if water supplies are below adequate levels.
