The National Theatre is shedding 400 jobs amidst plunging profits.
250 front of the house staff, and 150 backstage workers will lose their jobs at the end of August, the company said.
Live performances remain off-limits for the time being, so there’s much uncertainty among theathers and other similar venues about their future.
