In breaking news tonight, Irish Water have finally released figures to show who has and who hasn’t paid the so-called “immoral charge”.
Just 43% of all households in the country have paid the charge – this figure is far lower than both Fine Gael and Labour have led the public to believe.
A total of 46% of properties have paid it – but not even half of the normal residential households in the country have paid the charge.
Just under €30 million has been collected by Irish Water for the 43% who have paid.
This means around 6 in 10 households have not paid a drop… for a drop!
