A 27-year-old man has died in a workplace accident at a dairy factory in Clonakilty, West Cork.
The incident happened shortly after 10 am this morning at Clóna Dairies.
The young man, who is believed to be from just outside Clonakilty, was crushed in the yard after he was struck by an articulated lorry which was moving trailers.
Emergency services were alerted but a local doctor pronounced him dead at the scene.
The man’s body has been removed to Cork University Hospital for a post mortem examination.
